Guinea pigs make lovely pets for all the family, they are loveable and charming little animals. They enjoy the company of their human family, and will happily take food from your hands and wheek when they know its veggie time. What type of environment would suit me? The minimum accommodation for a pair consists of a 5ft by 2ft (152cm by 61cm) hutch or indoor cage and a 6ft long by 4ft wide by 18 inches high (183cm by 122 cm) wooden framed run with a removable/hinged lid for the grass in the warmer months.
