Hello, my name is CJ and I’m a 2-year-old chap looking for my new furrever home. I sadly find myself at Raystede as I was very scared of the dogs in my previous home. My personality: I’m a very gentle and sweet boy but I haven’t had the easiest start in life. Not much is known about my first home, but 6 months ago I moved into my most recent home. Unfortunately, I was terrified of the two dogs in the home and spent most of my time hiding in the garden. I’d love the chance to find kind humans who I can bond with in my own time and people who will let my personality shine. I may take a while to settle in a new home, so my adopters will need to be patient and understanding with me. I am slowly getting to know the staff at Raystede and am beginning to have a few chin tickles which I enjoy. Children: Due to my nervous nature, I’d prefer to live with adults only, or possibly older, sensible teens who will be gentle with me. Other animals: I do not like dogs, and I prefer not to share my space with other cats, so I would like to be the only pet in the home. No visiting dogs either, please! Additional needs: I do like to go outside so a nice garden to call my own is a must. It’s not known how far I wander, so I will need to live away from busy roads to keep me safe.
