Introduction: Maddison is a new arrival settling in. She can be very nervous and worried by things. She needs a experienced home that has lots of patience and time for her. Home wanted: Maddison is looking for a calm quiet patient home where adopters will give her lots of space to bond and trust. She needs her own secure garden. She is housetrained, ok travelling, being a cockapoo will need company, is used to being left for a few hours. Maddison can be very worried by lots of noise and activity so would prefer a quiet home in a quiet area. Behaviour towards people/children: She is very friendly when she knows people, is worried by strangers. She bonds closely to those she trusts. Maddison has lived with children, would prefer an adult only home as adopters need to spend time with her as need to help her gain confidence especially around other dogs. Other animals: Maddison has not had any introductions to other dogs, so is very nervous and vocal when she sees them on walks. Adopters need to know how to help her feel safe around other dogs. Be helpful if they have friends with calm similar type of breeds so can eventually walk with them. Not suited to living with cats, birds or small animals as will chase. Additional needs (behavioural/extra support): Maddison needs a loving home that will dedicate their time to her and one that understands the special relationship cockapoos tend to have with their family. Maddison may require several meets to get to know potential adopters.
