ClÄRchen

adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process ClÄRchen has found her home! Her story: Our lovely ClÄRchen is three months old and a Bichon-mixed breed. With her light fur and dark button eyes, she casts a spell on everyone. She was found together with her four siblings on a mountain near Bistrita. Currently, she waits with her siblings in a foster home for a loving home where she can feel comfortable. Like all her other siblings, ClÄRchen is a true treasure, she is super friendly and open-minded and ready for every adventure. She would love to embark on new adventures with her family and experience them with her favorite people. ClÄRchen loves to play and discover new things. After an exciting day, nothing is more beautiful for her than snuggling up and enjoying life to the fullest. Since ClÄRchen is only three months old, she still has a lot to learn. For example, the puppy multiplication table, here a little patience is needed, but cuddle hours are rewarded. During puberty, there may also be another test of patience, as ClÄRchen may occasionally "forget" something, but the good news is that puberty will eventually pass. To further solidify the puppy multiplication table and continue socializing the little mouse, we recommend a visit to a positively working puppy school. You can reward each other with cuddle units and spend time together in nature, on the couch, or in the garden. ClÄRchen travels microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated with an EU-pet passport to her new home. We would also be very happy to have a foster home for our sweet puppy girl. Would you like to enable ClÄRchen to start a new life? Many thanks to Nadine! You named ClÄRchen. As of: 05.08.

Vielen Dank an Nadine! Du hast Clärchen ihren Namen geschenkt. Stand: 05.08.2024

About ClÄRchen

What life with ClÄRchen looks like

ClÄRchen is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting ClÄRchen, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ClÄRchen?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ClÄRchen on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ClÄRchen if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ClÄRchen already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ClÄRchen isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know ClÄRchen and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
