Clarice

Mixed Breed · Female · Adult · 8 years

Female CatD. O. B 2018 approx. Neutered and blood tested. Used to living around dogs. These cats all came from the same home. Initially we believe they were strays, that were taken in and became pets, they are very friendly. They previously shared their home with dogs. They are cats who enjoy both indoors and outdoors. Of course any new home will have to give them a period of time indoors to acclimatise them to their new surroundings before letting them go outside.

About Clarice

What life with Clarice looks like

Clarice is an adult mixed breed cat waiting at Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain in Last Chance Malaga.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee. Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Clarice, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Clarice?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Clarice on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Clarice if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Clarice already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Clarice isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Last Chance Animal Rescue Spain early rather than rehoming privately; they know Clarice and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
