ClideRESERVIERT ID-No: 1039878 Breed: Labrador-mixed breed Age: *approx. 06/2025 Sex: male Shoulder height: approx. 49 cm Neutered: No Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Clide – cheerful Labrador-mix puppy seeks his forever family The delightful Clide (*approx. 06/2025, approx. 49 cm) is a young male Labrador mix who was found all alone together with his sister Bonni in an abandoned house. The two were lucky in their misfortune—they were immediately placed into a loving foster home and didn’t have to spend long in the animal shelter. Clide currently lives in a large foster home with two adults, many different dogs, and even cats. He gets along wonderfully with everyone, showing himself to be open, friendly, and sociable. His daily routine includes playing in the garden, romping with his dog friends, cuddling with people, and curiously exploring his surroundings. Even visitors don’t faze him. He travels comfortably in the car, behaves impeccably at the vet, and already knows his name. Right now, he’s diligently learning the basics like walking on a leash, responding to first commands, and staying alone for short periods. Clide eats supervised alongside the other dogs and shares water bowls, resting spots, and attention completely calmly. Clide is an all-around happy, well-balanced young dog who is now ready to leave his foster home and move into his very own forever home. Having another dog would be great but isn’t essential—Clide could also thrive as an only dog. Clide is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and holds an EU pet passport. For travel arrangements, he has been tested for Mediterranean diseases and has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Vaccinations: Yes Mediterranean disease check: Yes Microchip: No Known illnesses: None Transport included Contact person: Annika Beger Tel: Email:

About Clide

What life with Clide looks like

Clide is a large puppy/kitten labrador retriever dog waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Clide, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Clide?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Clide on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Clide if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Clide already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Clide isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Clide and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
