Cloe

European Shorthair · Female

Cloe ID No.: 144571 Breed: EKH Age: 06/2023 Gender: female husbandry: indoor/outdoor cat neutered/spayed: Yes Location: Marbella (Spain) Inquiry form Hi there, I’m Cloe 🙂 I’m a young little tuxedo cat. At first, I’m always a bit shy, but once I get over that, I become very clingy. I just need a little time to warm up—and then I’m all yours! Of course, I also love to play; after all, I’m still a young, bouncy kitten. Since I’m so young, my new home absolutely must have at least one cat of a similar age. Here at the animal shelter, I still have my siblings Nina and Sam. Maybe I could bring one of them along? Or even both? I’m vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Vaccinations Yes plus €85.00 transport fee Contact person Andrea Mürner Tel: Email:

About Cloe

What life with Cloe looks like

Cloe is a adult european shorthair cat waiting at Helfende Hände e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cloe, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cloe?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Helfende Hände e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cloe on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cloe if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Helfende Hände e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cloe already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cloe isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Helfende Hände e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cloe and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
