Coco will need an adult-only home with no children or visiting children, as she has shown fear-related behaviour around children previously. She is reactive towards other dogs and will need to be the only pet in the home. Her adopters should ideally have experience with the Chow Chow breed or be confident in managing and working through reactive behaviours using positive, reward-based training. Gentle, gradual introductions to new people will be essential to help Coco feel comfortable, and her socialisation will need ongoing support. In return, Coco will make a loyal and rewarding companion for someone willing to invest the time, patience, and understanding she needs to thrive. Coco is a beautiful 3-year-old Chow Chow looking for a patient and understanding home where she can feel safe and secure. She loves exploring new surroundings and enjoys happy zoomies on her walks, regularly checking in with her handler as she goes. Once she knows and trusts someone, Coco is affectionate and enjoys plenty of fuss and attention. She also has a playful side and particularly loves her teddies and stuffed toys. Coco is fearful of unfamiliar people and has snapped in the past, so she will need adopters who are willing to take things at her pace and commit to multiple visits at the centre to build a strong bond before adoption.
