Coco kam gegen Ende 2024 in die Tötungsstation in Piatra Neamț. Da sie ursprünglich aus dem Ort selbst stammt, stand sie bisher auf keiner der Tötungslisten. Dennoch musste sie eine unglaublich lange Zeit ein trauriges Leben führen. Sie ist uns bereits 2025 auf unseren Reisen aufgefallen und in Erinnerung geblieben. Als sie im März 2026 noch immer dort saß, war für uns klar: Diese wundervolle Hündin darf nicht länger warten. Coco ist eine Hündin, die sofort positiv auffällt. Mit ihrem sanften Wesen und ihrer liebevollen Art eroberte sie unsere Herzen im Sturm. Sie zeigte sich unglaublich zutraulich, menschenbezogen und genoss jede Form von Aufmerksamkeit und Nähe. Ein Blick auf ihre Gesäugeleiste lässt vermuten, dass sie bereits mehrere Würfe hatte. Zu ihrer Vergangenheit wissen wir ansonsten wenig. Umso berührender ist es, wie offen und voller Vertrauen sie uns Menschen begegnet. Dies wird aktuell im Foster medizinisch nachversorgt. Noch im Shelter durften wir sie auf ein kleines Stück Wiese bringen, das erste Mal seit über 1,5 Jahren, dass sie wieder Gras unter ihren Pfoten spüren konnte. Dieser Moment war wunderschön und Coco war überglücklich, diese kurze Freiheit zu erleben. Sie lief gut an der Leine, erkundete neugierig ihre Umgebung und sobald man sich ihr zuwandte, kam sie freudig auf einen zugelaufen. Coco zeigt sich als sehr aufgeschlossene, verschmuste und liebebedürftige Hündin. Sie sucht aktiv den Kontakt zum Menschen. Jetzt fehlt ihr noch ein Zuhause, in dem sie ankommen darf, bei Menschen, die ihr zeigen, wie schön ein Hundeleben sein kann und die letzten zwei Jahre in Vergessenheit geraten lassen.
