Congo er kommet retur fra pleje. Plejemoren skriver: Han er bare en sød lille basse. Han kommer gerne hen til dig, når han har lyst til at putte, og ellers finder man ham ofte liggende højt – gerne med forpoterne elegant krydset. Han er lidt en klatre kat som nyder hvis der er reoler, kradsebræt på væggen eller lignende, og nyder vindueskarmen. Når han først føler sig tryg, elsker han at være helt tæt på og viser også sin mere fjollede side med små zoomies, hvor enten et bestemt stykke legetøj eller en af hans søskende kan få hele turen. Han er dog lidt mere selektiv med, hvem han giver sin tillid til. Nye mennesker kan være overvældende for ham, og hvis der kommer gæster, kan han i starten finde på at gemme sig helt væk – nogle gange bare ved at høre fremmede stemmer. De seneste par uger er han stille og roligt begyndt at turde opholde sig i samme rum som gæster, og mandag tog han et stort skridt, da han for første gang legede med en gæst han mødte 30 minutter forinden. Hos en ny familie vil det derfor være vigtigt at give ham plads og lade ham komme frem i sit eget tempo.
