Conguito arrived at the pound in July 2026 and was around 1 year old when he arrived. He is a gorgeous Belgian Shepherd who was found alone and is believed to have been abandoned before being taken to the pound. Conguito loves going out for walks. Unfortunately, with so many dogs and not enough volunteers, opportunities to get out are limited, but when Conguito does get his chance, he makes the most of it. He walks very well on the lead and is wonderfully attentive to the volunteer walking him. He is happy to interact, engage and do some training, showing himself to be a young dog who is eager to learn. Conguito is also comfortable walking alongside another female dog and doesn’t seem bothered by passing cars. He appears to be a very trainable young dog who enjoys working together with his handler and would likely thrive with people who enjoy training and spending time with their dog. As a young Belgian Shepherd, Conguito will need plenty of both physical exercise and mental stimulation to thrive. He is looking for a loving, responsible home with people who understand the needs of working breeds and are prepared to give him the guidance, activity and companionship he deserves. Kind
