His story: Jule, Corbi, Tahan, Yari, and Wuppi – these cute puppies are Abigail's. They were found in great danger near a railway track. That's where they were born. What luck that our animal welfare workers were there again. They brought the little family to safety. They now live in a private shelter – unfortunately, the conditions there are not particularly nice, but they are safe and can stay there until they find a home. The little Corbi has a similar coat pattern to Mama Abigail. A real prince! He is about 2 months old and, unlike what the pictures suggest, is an open and cheerful little guy. When our helpers enter the kennel, the whole gang swarms around them, wanting some cuddles and treats. The siblings are all get-alongable with other dogs and show themselves to be open, puppy-like, curious, and playful. We assume they will grow to be medium-sized. Corbi is looking for people who won't expect much from him at first and will show him how a normal dog life works. He is still a baby and needs to learn a lot. Sometimes a mishap shouldn't be held against him, and Corbi should always be guided with a positive training style. He is looking forward to his new life with nature walks, lots of snuggling, and a visit to puppy school. Puppies should not be left alone as much as possible in their first year of life. Additionally, the more demanding pubertal phase is approaching. The hormone chaos turns the little rascals' lives upside down. They "forget" much of what they have learned and their ears are on full alert. Therefore, it is especially important to train consistently – but lovingly – during this phase. And there is also good news: This phase will pass! The sweet Corbi is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. At 4 months old, he can now receive an art-appropriate dog life. Seine Geschichte: Jule, Corbi, Tahan, Yari und Wuppi – so heißen die hübschen Welpen unserer Abigail. Sie wurden in großer Gefahr nahe eines Bahngleises gefunden. Dort wurden die Welpen geboren. Welch Glück, dass auch diesmal auf unserer Tierschützer Verlass war. Sie brachten die kleine Familie in Sicherheit. Sie leben nun in einem privaten Shelter – leider sind die Bedingungen dort nicht besonders schön, aber sie sind in Sicherheit und können dort bleiben, bis sie ein Zuhause gefunden haben. Der kleine Corbi hat eine ähnliche Fellzeichnung wie Mama Abigail. Ein wahrer Prachtbursche! Er ist nun etwa 2 Monate alt und anders als es die Bilder denken lassen ein aufgeschlossener und fröhlicher Bub. Wenn unsere Helfer:innen den Kennel betreten, schwänzelt die ganze Rasselbande um sie herum und wollen ein paar Streicheleinheiten und Leckerlis zu erhaschen. Die Geschwister sind alle mit anderen Hunden verträglich und zeigen sich insgesamt als offen, welpentypisch, neugierig und verspielt. Wir gehen davon aus, das sie mal mittelgroß werden. Corbi sucht Menschen, die erstmal nichts von ihm erwarten und ihm zeigen, wie ein normales Hundeleben funktioniert. Er ist noch ein Baby und muss noch viel lernen. Das ein oder andere Malheur sollte man ihm nicht übelnehmen und Corbi stets mit einem positiv verstärkenden Erziehungsstil begleiten. Er freut sich schon auf sein neues Leben mit schönen Spaziergängen in der Natur, vielen Schmusestunden und auch auf einen Besuch in der Welpenschule. Im ersten Lebensjahr sollten Welpen so wenig wie möglich alleine sein. Außerdem steht die eher anstrengende Pubertätszeit bevor. Das Hormonchaos stellt das Leben der kleinen Racker auf den Kopf. Sie “vergessen” oft alles, was sie bisher gelernt haben und die Ohren schalten auf Durchzug. Daher ist es in dieser Phase besonders wichtig, konsequent – aber liebevoll – zu erziehen. Und es gibt auch eine gute Nachricht: Auch diese Phase geht vorüber! Der süße Corbi ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Im Alter von 4 Monaten kann er nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in seine Familie ziehen. Wer schenkt Corbi ein artgerechtes Hundeleben? Vielen Dank Linda K.!
