Creshka

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 4 months

Only a short time ago, Creshka was a completely healthy, happy kitten enjoying the carefree life every young cat deserves. Everything changed when she suffered unimaginable cruelty. She sustained severe injuries to her head and was also thrown into a swimming pool, leaving her in an extremely critical condition. When she arrived at the veterinary clinic, her prognosis was uncertain. She was unable to move her head or limbs properly and had lost the ability to swallow due to a brain haemorrhage and significant swelling of the brain. Her survival depended on intensive veterinary treatment, constant monitoring, and weeks of dedicated rehabilitation. Thanks to the commitment of her veterinary team and an incredible determination to recover, Creshka gradually began proving everyone just how strong she truly is. Day by day she regained abilities that once seemed impossible. She learned to eat independently again, began using her litter tray without assistance, regained her ability to walk, and slowly started running and playing like any young kitten should. More recently, she has even been learning to jump over small obstacles, showing just how far she has come since those first frightening days. Today, Creshka is once again a cheerful, playful, and affectionate young cat who enjoys exploring, playing, and interacting with the people around her. Like any kitten, she is curious about the world and eager to discover new things, making the most of the second chance she has been given. Although her recovery has been remarkable, it is important for future adopters to understand that the extent of any permanent neurological damage cannot be predicted with certainty. From a veterinary perspective, it is impossible to know whether she will eventually regain every physical ability or whether some subtle limitations may remain throughout her life. What is certain is that Creshka does not let those uncertainties stop her. She has adapted beautifully to her current abilities and continues to improve as she grows. She is capable of enjoying life, playing, learning, and doing all the things that matter most to a young cat. Future adopters should simply be prepared to support her if minor physical differences remain as she matures, while celebrating every milestone she continues to achieve. Creshka is looking for a home where she will be accepted exactly as she is. A family who understands that perfection is not measured by physical ability, but by the enormous capacity to love, trust, and enjoy life despite everything she has endured. After surviving an experience that no animal should ever have to face, Creshka deserves far more than temporary care. She deserves a permanent home filled with kindness, patience, and security, where she can continue growing, playing, and reminding everyone who meets her that strength sometimes comes in the smallest of packages.

About Creshka

What life with Creshka looks like

Creshka is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at Amospet in Skopje.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇲🇰Adopting from North Macedonia

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Creshka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Creshka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Amospet handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Creshka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Creshka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Amospet will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Creshka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Creshka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Amospet early rather than rehoming privately; they know Creshka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
