Crevette

Male · Adult · 4 years

Crevette was found in a garden in Wissous. Shy and fearful, he is gradually learning to trust humans with the help of the volunteers. Crevette is a reserved male who prefers to keep his distance and observe rather than come into contact. He is not aggressive, but he needs his space to feel safe. The company of other cats helps him feel reassured and calm. He adores resting high up, in the sun, on an shelter shelter, surrounded by his "harem," which hints at a bit of a seductive side.... Leader of the "craintifs," a group of shy cats who support each other, he is the only male in the clan and watches over his little world with calm and assurance. Crevette still needs time to build trust. He is not ready for traditional adoption but can join his future family through an accompanied adoption. This step corresponds to an acceptance phase in the future home to build a gentle bond before adoption. It allows him to adapt to his new home in complete serenity, with the support of the association. If the environment suits him and a bond is formed, adoption is then confirmed naturally. Crevette will thrive in a home without young children, with people experienced in respecting his reserved nature. A secure apartment with a balcony is ideal for him to enjoy the outdoors safely. The presence of a fellow animal of the same species as a calming companion is a real plus for his balance and confidence. Don't miss out on Crevette, this sweet and mischievous little male, and don't hesitate to contact us to meet him!

About Crevette

What life with Crevette looks like

Crevette is a small adult cat waiting at 30 Millions d'Amis in Paris.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Crevette, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Crevette?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. 30 Millions d'Amis handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Crevette on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Crevette if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — 30 Millions d'Amis will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Crevette already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Crevette isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with 30 Millions d'Amis early rather than rehoming privately; they know Crevette and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
