Gender: Male Age: Born around November 2021 (approximate estimated date) Size: Small to medium (estimated) (11.6 kg) Date of arrival at the shelter: June 2023 Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Compatibility: OK with dogs Temperament: Shy Progress: April 16, 2026: Everything is going great for Cristesti—what a lovely boy! He absolutely loves his little life in a house; I can really see how happy he is by the way he plays and runs around in the garden. He’s also integrated wonderfully into our pack of 19 dogs. December 3, 2025: Cristesti is doing great. During the first week after his arrival, he was quite shy, but now he’s the perfect little dog—very sociable. He loves being cared for and lets us do absolutely everything for him—he’s just adorable. When he first came to us, he still limped on one of his paws. We took him to the vet, and it turned out not to be anything serious. He had an injury to his paw pads, so the vet thoroughly disinfected the area and applied ointment for several days. Now everything is back to normal. October 5, 2025: His treatment is almost over—he’s much better now, but he still seems a bit stiff. September 22, 2025: We took Cristesti to the clinic a few days ago. He’d been limping and stiff for some time, and X-rays showed nothing abnormal. We brought him back today because he had blood in his urine. An ultrasound revealed a severe cystitis and early signs of nephritis. The blood work (biochemistry and complete blood count) is good. September 28, 2024: Cristesti is starting to enjoy being petted. Shy when he first arrived (June 2023). About Cristesti

What life with Cristesti looks like

Cristesti is a medium-sized adult mixed breed dog waiting at Remember Me France in France.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Cristesti, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Cristesti?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Remember Me France handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Cristesti on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Cristesti if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Remember Me France will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Cristesti already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Cristesti isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Remember Me France early rather than rehoming privately; they know Cristesti and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
