Croissant (& Crumpet)

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Kitten · 3 months

Hello, we're Crumpet and Croissant! Two adorable kittens looking for our forever home together. Our journey began when we were found as tiny strays alongside our mum and siblings. Sadly, our mum was struggling to care for us all, so we were introduced to the wonderful Bloom, who was already caring for her own litter. She welcomed us as her own, giving us all the love, warmth, and care we needed to grow into the happy, healthy kittens we are today.Although we're the best of friends, we each have our own unique personalities. Croissant is the brave one, always the first to come over and say hello. He's incredibly affectionate, loves attention, and is always ready for an adventure. Crumpet is a little more reserved and may need a minute to warm up to new people, but once she knows you're kind, her sweet and loving personality really begins to shine. We love playing together, whether we're chasing toys, climbing to new heights, or having a little wrestling match. When playtime is over, you'll almost always find us snuggled up together for a cosy nap. We share a wonderful bond and would love to spend the rest of our lives side by side.If you're looking for the perfect pair of kittens who will fill your home with fun, love, and plenty of purrs, we could be just what you're looking for.Could you be the family to give us the forever home we've been waiting for? About Croissant (& Crumpet)

What life with Croissant (& Crumpet) looks like

Croissant (& Crumpet) is a very small puppy/kitten mixed breed cat waiting at National Animal Welfare Trust in Watford.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇬🇧Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Croissant (& Crumpet), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Croissant (& Crumpet)?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. National Animal Welfare Trust handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Croissant (& Crumpet) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Croissant (& Crumpet) if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — National Animal Welfare Trust will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Croissant (& Crumpet) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Croissant (& Crumpet) isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with National Animal Welfare Trust early rather than rehoming privately; they know Croissant (& Crumpet) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
