Csuporka

Mixed Breed · Female

Finally, we are back with a new adoption post. Today, Csuporka is trying her luck! This beautiful girl, born in 2019, was wandering near the Csévharaszti rest area, probably abandoned. She most likely lived on a leash until now. It's time for her life to change completely! Csuporka is a modest dog. Although she is large, she seems to always try to shrink herself. Very kind and gentle, I think she still needs some time to believe that people can approach her with love. She gets along well with her companion, Moka, but she is a bit shy around other dogs. Therefore, she needs some motivation to walk past them and not be rooted to the ground. The timid little soul of Csuporka is waiting for someone to open the door and show her the world, to go on great trips, play and learn that she doesn't have to be afraid of new things. If you feel that you are the one whose love and care can help Csuporka discover a new world, call the phone number. Csuporka is waiting for those who want to meet her for a walk in Csévharaszti, Pest county, on Saturday.

Végre újra gazdikereső poszttal jövünk, a mai nap Csuporka próbál szerencsét! Ez a gyönyörű, 2019-es leányzó a csévharaszti pihenőnél kódorgott, valószínűleg kirakhatták, feltehetően eddig láncon élt. Most itt az ideje, hogy nagyot forduljon vele a világ! Csuporka szerény kutyus, bár nagy a mérete, mégis mintha mindig megpróbálná kicsire összehúzni magát. Csuporka szombaton várja ismerkedős sétára a jelentkezőket Csévharaszton, Pest megyében.

About Csuporka

What life with Csuporka looks like

Csuporka is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Luca Kutyamenedék in Hungary.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇭🇺Adopting from Hungary

Hungarian shelters operate at high capacity given the country's stray population. Animals leave sterilized, chipped, and with a passport. Many shelters coordinate transport to Germany, Austria, and the Nordics.

Frequently asked

Adopting Csuporka, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Csuporka?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Luca Kutyamenedék handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Csuporka on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Csuporka if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Luca Kutyamenedék will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Csuporka already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Csuporka isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Luca Kutyamenedék early rather than rehoming privately; they know Csuporka and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (HU). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
