Name: Cukierek Breed: Mix Age: 2025 Sex: Male Size: Medium Weight: 16.5kg Cukierek is a little over one and a half year old male dog who arrived with another dog, Drops, from Gmina Długosiodło in February of this year. From the start, the dog was negatively oriented towards the new environment and the new people around him. He wouldn't allow for closer approach, would run away from humans, and behaved aggressively. After three months of intensive work, patience, and adding encouragement, the dog finally opened up. Today, he doesn't have a problem with getting a collar, going on a walk, or being petted on his head and back. There were moments when he also showed how much energy he had for play and did not show aggression towards other dogs. For him, these are small steps forward, and for us, a great success. Although we know there is still a lot of work ahead to fully trust the dog, we are happy that we managed to show him that the world can also be colorful and full of love. We ask for thoughtful adoptions; the dog needs to be given a lot of time to acclimate, a sense of security, and a huge amount of love from a human. We are sure that he will be the best friend anyone could ever dream of. DO NOT BUY – ADOPT! THE DOG THAT COMES TO OUR our shelter IS UNDER A 14-DAY QUARANTINE. If the owner does not pick him up during this time, the dog will be vaccinated, neutered, and we will be looking for a new caregiver. Adoption requires filling out the application available on our website, agreeing to a pre/post-adoption visit, and signing an adoption agreement. Piesek od początku nastawiony był negatywnie na nowe otoczenie, oraz nowe osoby wokół siebie. Nie pozwalał na bliższe zbliżenie, uciekał od człowieka, zachowywał się agresywnie. Po trzech miesiącach ciężkiej pracy, cierpliwości, oraz dodawania otuchy piesek w końcu się otworzył. W dniu dzisiejszym bez problemu zakładamy mu obróżkę, smycz, wychodzimy na spacerek, pozwala również na głaskanie po mordce, oraz grzbiecie. Bywały momenty, w któ-rych również pokazywał ile ma energii na zabawę, nie wykazuje również agresji do innych piesków. Dla niego są to małe kroczki do przodu, dla nas wielki sukces i choć wiemy, że jeszcze sporo pracy przed nami aby całkowicie piesek nam zaufał to jesteśmy szczęśliwi, że udało nam się choć troszkę pokazać mu, że świat może być również kolorowy i pełen miłości. Prosimy o przemyślane adopcje, piesek potrzebuje aby poświęcić mu dużo czasu na zaaklima-tyzowanie się, potrzebuje poczucia bezpieczeństwa, oraz ogromu miłości ze strony człowieka.
