CULATA

European Shorthair · Female · Young · 1 year

Hello, my name is CULATA, a very young and beautiful kitty. The police brought me to our shelter because I was abandoned on the street. I had conjunctivitis, was very thin, and very scared. Here I was treated, gained weight, and got better. Now I'm ready to go to a home where I'll feel loved and protected. I promise to be a wonderful companion.

Hola, soy Culata, una gatita muy joven y muy bella. Me trajeron al CIMPA unos policías porque estaba abandonada en la calle. Tenía conjuntivitis, estaba muy delgada y con mucho miedo. Aquí me curaron, cogi peso y me puse bien. Ahora estoy lista para ir a una casa donde me sentiré querida y protegida. Seré una compañera maravillosa, lo prometo.

About CULATA

What life with CULATA looks like

CULATA is a young adult european shorthair cat waiting at Con Alma Protectora in Spain.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting CULATA, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CULATA?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Con Alma Protectora handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CULATA on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CULATA if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Con Alma Protectora will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is CULATA already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CULATA isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Con Alma Protectora early rather than rehoming privately; they know CULATA and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
