CYPISEK

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 13 months

Meet Cypisek the Little, a 13-year-old dog who weighs about 9 kg. He's a small, slightly shaggy handsome with a unique coat - white fur with dark brown patches, dark, slightly torn ears and a face where gray hairs are already clearly visible. And then there's that wonderful, cheerful smile! Cypisek came to us in very bad shape. He was heavily neglected, his fur was in poor condition, and everything indicated that he had not received proper care, proper nutrition or necessary treatment for a long time. Additionally, Cypisek has vision problems - he probably can't see out of one eye. Despite this, he copes very well and doesn't let his limitations take away his joy of life. Cypisek beautifully shows how much a little care can change. His fur is slowly growing back, it's starting to look better and every day he's becoming a real handsome! Most importantly, Cypisek is quickly recovering and regaining his joy. As befits his elderly bachelor, Cypisek no longer needs crazy adventures or forest marathons. He likes quiet walks, walks nicely on a leash and enjoys being close to humans. He's a positive, cheerful and grateful dog for attention. He has that special wisdom that older dogs have - he doesn't need much to feel happy. All he needs is a quiet home, a soft bed, a full bowl and a person who won't let him down. Cypisek is about 13 years old, so we're looking for a special, quiet home where he can safely spend his doggy autumn. A home that will accept his age, weaker eyesight and all the little imperfections, and in return will get a faithful, loved and cheerful friend. Because 13 years is not the end of the story. It can be the beginning of the most beautiful one - the story of a home that Cypisek so badly needs. Cypisek is waiting for a person who will love him for who he is - a little gray, a little shaggy, a little blind, but with a huge heart.

About CYPISEK

What life with CYPISEK looks like

CYPISEK is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting CYPISEK, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CYPISEK?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CYPISEK on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CYPISEK if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is CYPISEK already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CYPISEK isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know CYPISEK and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
