CZINO

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 7 years

Czino is a cat who definitely knows what he wants from humans – petting, attention, and of course some delicious treats. He prefers to follow his human companion step by step, reminding them that they forgot to give him a good amount of petting along the way. He is a very friendly and outgoing cat. He loves petting and knows how to demand it effectively. When he is not occupied with his human, he enjoys going on his own feline adventures – he particularly likes the highest levels of scratching posts, from which he can observe everything from above. The reality of the shelter is definitely not for him. Czino needs more space, the ability to move and his own places where he can rest, run or simply behave like a real cat. We can assume that before coming to us, he was accustomed to completely different conditions, and that is why the enclosed space does not serve him well. As for contact with other cats, we are optimistic. Czino does not show us that he would have to be the only cat in the house, but as we know, you can never predict everything with cats. Each has its own character, its own limits and its own opinion on co-inhabitants. And yet, a cat walks its own way.

PL·Show original

About CZINO

What life with CZINO looks like

CZINO is a adult mixed breed cat waiting at Schronisko Świdnica in Poland.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting CZINO, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about CZINO?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Schronisko Świdnica handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw CZINO on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt CZINO if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Schronisko Świdnica will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is CZINO already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if CZINO isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Schronisko Świdnica early rather than rehoming privately; they know CZINO and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
