D5 came into our care along with his sibling, thanks to the help of familiar animal welfare advocates. The seven siblings had to be rescued from extremely poor conditions, and capturing them was no easy task at all—so fearful were they of humans that we had to gently coax them one by one. Since then, however, they’ve all made tremendous progress. D5 has a slightly more cautious nature and needs extra time to open up and feel safe. But given this time and the patience he so desperately needs, he’ll soon reveal his true self: a sweet, cuddly, and inquisitive young pup who longs for love and human companionship. We’re looking for a family for D5 who understands that building trust isn’t always an overnight process. He needs an owner who will patiently guide him, lead him with kindness, and teach him—with consistent training—what a wonderful thing it is to live in a secure, loving home. We believe that with the right family, D5 will blossom beautifully and show just how loving and devoted a companion he can be. All he needs is a little time, lots of love, and understanding to fully open his heart.
