Napsugár egy közepesen aktív, fiatal kislány kutya. Valószínűleg német juhász jelleg is felfedezhető benne, de kisebb termetű kutyus is lehet, így várhatóan nem lesz nagytestű felnőttként. Nagyon kedves, aranyos és szerethető természetű. Pórázon sétálni még tanul, de napról napra ügyesebb, és szépen fejlődik. Más kutyákkal kifejezetten barátságos, soha nem mutat agressziót vagy dominanciát feléjük. Gyerekekkel is jól kijön, nyitott és kedves velük. Cicákkal megfelelő odafigyeléssel összeszoktatható.
