DAG Søteste vesle kattugen Dag søker forever home. 💗 Here is the world's sweetest little Dag who has grown up with both small and big dogs and is the year's charm. He is now 11 weeks 10/6 and ready for his forever home next week. He loves wet food and plays with his sister and the dogs and the big cats all day🖤 He sleeps in the bed with foster mother at night but plays and sleeps where it suits during the day. Dag is a Kosepus with lots of life and beautiful charm, he can easily stay quiet in a trap for a little while even though he is a kitten. Sister Dagny and little Dag were caught from a colony in Trones, but their mother was not found so they have grown up in foster home with other kittens and safe people. Those who choose Dag will get a fantastic social and nice kitten cat. Contact us if you want to say hello🖤 Remember that if you adopt from US - everything a kitten needs is INCLUDED in the price. So choose us 🐈‍⬛ We are looking for families with single children with considerate children (if you have children)

About DAG

What life with DAG looks like

DAG is a large adult mixed breed cat waiting at Lucas Dyrevern in Stavanger.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇳🇴Adopting from Norway

Norwegian rescues require thorough background checks. Animals leave with a Nordic pet passport and full vetting. Norway is outside the EU so import rules differ slightly — TRACES applies.

Frequently asked

Adopting DAG, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about DAG?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Lucas Dyrevern handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw DAG on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt DAG if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Lucas Dyrevern will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is DAG already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if DAG isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Lucas Dyrevern early rather than rehoming privately; they know DAG and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (NO). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
