Daimen, a German, gray German Shepherd came to our animal shelter with his friend Linda, as they were carelessly acquired. Both have lived together since puppyhood and would now like to move to a new home separately. Daimen knows various basic commands, but was probably always just "spurred on" with toys and did not know impulse control. For us, it was a big challenge to teach him calmness and impulse control. Now Daimen can back off with his trusted people and walks are usually trouble-free. However, Daimen clearly distinguishes who he is facing and likes to test that person. Daimen was a big challenge for us, which we have overcome. However, his new family must first "prove" that he can give up leadership. The male dog wants to be involved everywhere, wants to be encouraged and challenged. Proper work with this beautiful German Shepherd would be a enrichment for him. Daimen is a people-oriented German Shepherd who also wants to assert his interests. Daimen is only rehomed to people with dog experience, without children and other pets. Ideal would be "dog sporters" who are no longer training for performance, but have the necessary expertise and know how to train and properly utilize a German Shepherd. Who would like to take on the big, but also beautiful challenge and offer Daimen a stable, confident home?. This is a puppy.

Daimen, ein deutscher, grauer Schäferhund kam mit seiner Freundin Linda bei uns im Tierheim an, da sie sehr unüberlegt angeschafft wurden. Beide leben seit dem Welpen Alter zusammen, sollen jetzt aber auch gerne getrennt in ein neues Zuhause umziehen. Daimen kennt zwar verschiedene Grundkommandos, wurde aber wohl immer nur mit Spielzeug „hochgepuscht“ und kannte keine Impulskontrolle. Für uns war das natürlich große Aufgabe ihm Ruhe und Impulskontrolle beizubringen. Bei seinen Bezugspersonen kann er sich jetzt zurücknehmen und Spaziergänge sind, in der Regel, problemlos. Daimen unterscheidet allerdings genau, wer ihm gegenübersteht und testet denjenigen dann auch gerne aus. Daimen war eine große Herausforderung für uns, die wir gemeistert haben. Seine neue Familie muss sich allerdings zuerst „beweisen“, ob er die Führung abgeben kann. Der Rüde möchte gerne überall dabei sein, möchte gefördert und gefordert werden. Richtiges Arbeiten mit dem schönen Schäferhund wäre für ihn eine Bereicherung. Daimen ist ein menschenbezogener Dt. Schäferhund, der aber durchaus seine Interessen durchsetzen möchte. Daimen wird ausschließlich an Menschen mit Hundeerfahrung, ohne Kinder und andere Haustiere vermittelt. Ideal wären „Hundesportler“ die nicht mehr auf Leistung trainieren, aber den gewissen Sachverstand haben und wissen, wie man einen Schäferhund trainiert und ihn artgerecht auslastet. Wer möchte sich der großen, aber auch schönen Herausforderung stellen und Daimen ein stabiles, souveränes Zuhause bieten?
