Rescued Daisy was just a tiny puppy, yet she had already endured more pain than any dog should ever have to experience. Daisy was found by a runner near a pond with a severely broken hind leg. Despite excruciating pain, she limped after him on three legs, as if she knew he was her last hope. She was hungry, thirsty, without a microchip, and covered in ticks. Later, she was diagnosed with babesiosis, a disease she bravely fought against. Today, Daisy has undergone surgery on her leg and is undergoing intensive treatment. She’ll need the removal of the osteosynthetic material in about four weeks, but she’s already making wonderful progress. During her recovery, we’re gradually socializing Daisy with other dogs of various sizes—always under our close supervision. She’s learning to communicate, gaining confidence, and discovering that the world doesn’t have to be filled only with pain and fear. Daisy is a very gentle, sensitive, and compliant little puppy. She loves human company, enjoys learning, and quickly builds trust when treated with kindness. Despite her difficult past, she’s retained a beautiful, friendly nature. Daisy is one of those bull-mix breeds often unfairly judged by their appearance. In reality, these dogs form incredibly strong bonds with their families. They’re devoted, affectionate, intelligent, and long for being an integral part of their people’s daily lives. They need consistent yet gentle training, clear rules, and plenty of shared activities. They’re not dogs who want to spend their lives alone in the yard. Therefore, we’re looking exclusively for an indoor home for Daisy—a place where she can become a full-fledged member of a family. She deserves a warm bed, safety, love, and a family that will accept her as one of their own. The future family should realize that adopting a puppy isn’t a decision for just a few months—it’s a commitment for the next 15 years or more. Daisy will need not only high-quality care but also time, patience, training, and a person who’ll stand by her through thick and thin. We’ve given her a second chance at life. Now we’re searching for a family who’ll give her what matters most—the home from which she’ll never have to leave again.
