Daisy was surrendered because she lost her partner and the rabbitry has now been discontinued. She previously lived in outdoor housing and enjoyed digging. She lives with Moonpie in an indoor pen with us and feels well here. She would certainly be happy about a digging opportunity, such as a digging box. Unfortunately, Daisy has been battling a cold for a long time and is therefore a chronic nasal sufferer. She can only be rehomed with other sick rabbits, ideally with Moonpie, as the two get along well. During the socialization due to stress, her cold was strongly pronounced. This has improved somewhat since then. We are supporting her with inhalations and medications for her respiratory system. She will not need this permanently, but at least in the initial phase and during stressful situations. Daisy wurde abgegeben weil sie ihren Partner verlor und die Kaninchenhaltung nun beendet wurde. Sie hat zuvor in Außenhaltung gelebt und gerne gebuddelt. Bei uns lebt sie mit Moonpie in einem Außengehege und fühlt sich hier auch wohl. Über eine Buddelmöglichkeit, z.B. in Form einer Buddelkiste, würde sie sich sicher freuen. Daisy hat leider schon lange mit einem Schnupfen zu kämpfen und ist daher chronischer Schnupfer. Daher wird sie nur zu ebenfalls erkrankten Kaninchen vermittelt, idealerweise mit Moonpie zusammen, da die beiden sich gut miteinander verstehen. Während der Vergesellschaftung im Zuge des Stresses war ihr Schnupfen stark ausgeprägt. Dies hat sich mittlrweile etwas gebessert. Wir behandeln sie trotzdem unterstützend mit Inhalationen und Medikamenten für die Atemwege. Dies wird sie nicht dauerhaft benötigen, aber zumindest in der Anfangszeit und in stressigen Situationen.
