Sie kam entweder schon auf der Straße auf die Welt oder wurde kurz nach der Geburt mit allen Geschwistern und der Mutter ausgesetzt – beides ist nicht untypisch für Rumänien. Die Hundefamilie lebte in einem Dorf an einer Straße – nicht der beste Ort für kleine Welpen! Immerhin bauten freundliche Anwohner einen kleinen Unterschlupf. Es war ja noch eisig kalt im Februar, diese Geste ist nicht üblich. Oft werden Straßenhunde vergiftet oder verjagt. Unsere Tierschützerin wurde zum Glück auf das Leid der Tiere aufmerksam und holte sie zu sich. Dana kann mit all diesen Gefahren nichts anfangen. Anfangs war ihr nur wichtig bei Mama zu sein und mittlerweile ist ihre Welt prall gefüllt mit Schabernack! Sie spielt, tobt und rauft mit ihren Geschwistern, Pausen legt man nur zum Schlafen, Fressen oder Kuscheln ein. Der Besuch unserer Tierschützerin wird natürlich auch mächtig gefeiert – ist das doch jedes Mal eine tolle Abwechslung und man kann Streicheleinheiten abstauben. Ihr seht schon: Dana ist ein typischer Welpe. Aktuell fehlen ihr natürlich viele Umweltreize (Auto fahren, leben im Haus, gassi gehen mit allen Abenteuern, usw. )Außerdem muss die junge Hundedame natürlich noch lernen, dass Menschen nicht nur kurz vorbei kommen und fürs kuscheln und füttern zuständig sind, sondern das Menschen auch ganz viel Zeit mit einem Welpen verbringen, um ihm alles beizubringen, was ein Familienhund wissen muss.
