Triple A Benelux: Input 22 oktober 2026: Danae werd samen met haar zoon Percy gered door ons Rescue team nadat zij hadden rondgezworven op straat en al enige tijd probeerden te overleven.Ze zijn in eerste instantie in een tijdelijke opvang terecht gekomen, maar daar hadden ze nog niet de mogelijkheid om te socializen met andere honden en mensen.In ons asiel leven ze inmiddels samen in een groepje honden. Danae is nog wat verlegen, maar oh zo schattig en lief.Bij ontmoetingen met andere honden blijft ze een beetje gereserveerd en is ze niet bang om haar ruimte te vragen.Danae is gezond en nu ze al enige tijd met 5 andere honden samenleeft is ze enorm in haar element.Het ideale mandje voor Danae staat bij iemand die geduldig is en die voldoende tijd voor haar kan vrij maken. Ervaring met Podenco’s is een pré en een veilige plek waar ze de kans krijgt om op haar eigen tempo volledig tot bloei te kunnen komen. Zijn er bovendien al 1 of meerdere honden in het gezin aanwezig dan is dat zeer wenselijk!Danae heeft een sterk jachtinstinct dus droomt ze van een heerlijke tuin waar ze met haar maatjes kan snuffelen en rennen.Tot dusverre wacht Danae nog op een uitje met vrijwilligers. Haar vertrouwen groeit met de dag dus we gaan ervan uit dat ze binnenkort klaar zal zijn voor een mooie wandeling ergens in de natuur of op het strand. Wellicht kan ze ook een dagje bij iemand thuis verblijven zodat ze alvast went aan een huiselijke setting.Het zal haar ongetwijfeld tijd kosten om de vele nieuwe indrukken te verwerken. Ze is uiteraard gebaat bij stabiliteit en vaste (wandel) routines.Daarentegen zijn stadse uitjes en teveel sociale contacten niet ideaal. Ze hunkert naar rust en dat is waar we naar op zoek zijn voor deze schat.NB: haar zoon Percy heeft wat meer tijd nodig en is momenteel nog niet helemaal klaar voor adoptie. Hopelijk treedt hij snel in de voetsporen van zijn bewonderingswaardige moeder.Al een beetje verliefd geworden op Danae? Ze begint zelf gelukkig steeds meer verliefd te worden op het leven, maar uiteindelijk is er natuurlijk niets mooiers dan dit samen te kunnen doen met een steun en toeverlaat aan haar zijde!
