Adopt Dani

Mixed Breed Cat · Male · Young · 3 years

Description Huhu! I am Dani! I am ultra-soft and cuddly and I would really love to have a nice, soft spot to grow old in. I am already 3 years old and I make no fuss. I am a fine boy! My litter box monitors say I am sick. But I am actually doing great. Watch the videos, I am not lying. As I said, a fine boy! I probably have some kind of funny infection, it is called FeLV. So like my fur, only misspelled. Anyway, I can probably spread it to my friends. This happens if they come into contact with my litter box leftovers, or if I start biting. But I do not do that because I am a fine boy! It gets silly when we sniff each other's noses, that could also be enough. I do not think that is good! But let us stay positive! I would be the perfect single prince. Or I come to cats who already have the disease, then it does not matter. And because I am such a sweet and sophisticated boy and I have not mentioned it yet, someone will definitely take me in! I am packing my bags now, see you soon! Information on FeLV The animal presented here comes from a foster home that houses many animals. For these animals, we are searching for a home for a loving and safe life in the new home. The descriptions are brief because there simply is not enough time for detailed descriptions during the daily work of caring for all the animals. If interested, a detailed description can be requested, please send your questions directly via email to the provided address. We will try to answer these as soon as possible. Home Sought For Dani we are searching for a loving, understanding home. Our cats are neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and come with an EU Pass, ready for their new home. Additionally, they are tested for FELV/FIV. We look forward to your contact.

Beschreibung Huhu! About Dani

What life with Dani looks like

Dani is a young adult mixed breed cat cat waiting at Tierischgeholfen e.V. in Germany.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dani, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dani?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierischgeholfen e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dani on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dani if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierischgeholfen e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dani already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dani isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierischgeholfen e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dani and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
