Daniela

European Shorthair · Female · Kitten

Description: We’re Daniela and Dingo, two siblings who were left alone on the streets almost a year ago. We were just babies then, barely able to see. We felt scared, in pain, and faced an uncertain future. Luckily, someone noticed us when almost no one else would have. That person took us in, cared for us, took us to the vet again and again, and fought for us when we needed it most. We went through treatments, checkups, and even surgery on our little eyes. We didn’t fully regain our vision, but you know what? That’s never stopped us from being happy. We love playing, running around, chasing each other, seeking cuddles, and sleeping close together. We savor every single day as if it were a gift. Now we’re two healthy, affectionate, and super playful cats. We’ve got almost everything... but there’s one very important thing missing. We’re missing a family—a home where we can wake up every morning knowing we’ll never be alone again. A place where we’ll be loved forever. A cozy corner where we can keep growing, keep playing, and fill with love whoever opens their heart to us. Our story began with a lot of sadness, but we don’t want it to end there. Will you help us write the happy ending we’ve been dreaming of so much? We promise to return every single caress multiplied by a thousand, fill your home with purrs, and remind you every day that second chances really do exist.

About Daniela

What life with Daniela looks like

Daniela is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at Keywords in Spain.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Daniela, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Daniela?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Keywords handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Daniela on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Daniela if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Keywords will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Daniela already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Daniela isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Keywords early rather than rehoming privately; they know Daniela and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
