*Danko* Danko is a large, friendly boy who has only recently arrived with us after spending time in another shelter where he had very little opportunity to explore the world around him. Despite all the changes, Danko is settling in wonderfully. He walks beautifully on the lead and doesn't pull at all. As everything is still quite new and a little overwhelming for him, he often looks to his walker for reassurance and guidance. When meeting other dogs on walks, Danko is calm and polite. He either ignores them completely or greets them with a wagging tail and friendly body language. He has already met a few dogs and has always behaved respectfully and appropriately. Danko is a gentle, affectionate dog who is gaining confidence every day. He is currently ignoring cats and is proving to be an easy-going companion. We look forward to getting to know him even better as he continues to settle into kennel life.
