He needs a lot of time to build trust, and should not be expected to do anything in his new home. Patience, calmness, and understanding will be key to giving him security. Even though Dante is currently very reserved, we observe that he is quite open to other cats. He appears curious and seems to find the company of his fellow animals acceptable. Therefore, he might enjoy having a social feline companion. For Dante, we wish for a quiet environment where he can be given the time he needs to settle in. After a sufficient period of acclimatization, he should again be allowed outdoor access. Depending on his development, we might also consider a suitable farm setting where he can enjoy his freedom while still being reliably cared for.

Er braucht viel Zeit, um Vertrauen aufzubauen, und sollte in seinem neuen Zuhause nichts müssen. Geduld, Ruhe und Verständnis werden bei ihm der Schlüssel sein, um ihm Sicherheit zu geben. Auch wenn Dante aktuell noch sehr zurückhaltend ist, beobachten wir, dass er anderen Katzen gegenüber durchaus aufgeschlossen wirkt. Er zeigt sich eher neugierig und scheint die Gesellschaft seiner Artgenossen nicht verkehrt zu finden. Daher könnte er sich möglicherweise über einen sozialen Katzenpartner freuen. Für Dante wünschen wir uns ein ruhiges Umfeld, in dem man ihm die Zeit gibt, die er benötigt, um anzukommen. Nach einer ausreichenden Eingewöhnungszeit soll er wieder die Möglichkeit zum Freigang erhalten.
