A DAPHNE arrived with us from a municipal dog shelter. Before that, she had been found on the street with a litter of puppies. The babies were adopted directly from the dog shelter, but DAPHNE was transferred to our shelter. Later, she was adopted by someone who insisted on taking a young dog, even though we suggested that perhaps a calmer and older adult dog would be a better option. Unfortunately, during a walk, the person fell because DAPHNE was still young and full of energy. She was returned shortly after. Since then, several years have passed… and DAPHNE still waits. DAPHNE is an extremely gentle and very people-oriented dog. She loves attention, forms strong bonds with those who care for her, and has a sweet temperament. She does well on a leash, behaves well in the car, and, to the best of our knowledge, has lived in a family environment. She is also sociable with other dogs. DAPHNE deserves a second chance—a home where she can finally be happy and become part of a family. She will be delivered vaccinated, dewormed, spayed, and microchipped.

A Daphne chegou até nós vinda de um canil municipal. Antes disso, tinha sido encontrada na rua com uma ninhada de cachorrinhos. Os bebés foram adotados diretamente do canil, mas a Daphne foi transferida para o nosso abrigo. Mais tarde, foi adotada por uma pessoa que insistiu em levar um cão jovem, apesar de termos sugerido que talvez um cão mais calmo e adulto fosse uma opção mais adequada. Infelizmente, durante um passeio, a pessoa caiu, pois a Daphne ainda era jovem e cheia de energia. Acabou por ser devolvida pouco depois. Desde então, passaram-se vários anos… e a Daphne continua à espera. A Daphne é uma cadela extremamente meiga e muito ligada às pessoas. Adora atenção, cria laços fortes com quem cuida dela e tem um temperamento doce. Anda bem à trela, porta-se bem no carro e, pelo que sabemos, já viveu em ambiente familiar. É também sociável com outros cães. A Daphne merece uma segunda oportunidade — um lar onde finalmente possa ser feliz e fazer parte de uma família. Será entregue vacinada, desparasitada, esterilizada e com microchip.
