Darwin is a young male Beauceron crossbreed, born around 2021 according to the veterinarian's estimation. He was found wandering in Villard du Lauzet (04), without a microchip or collar, and no one came to claim him. Since September 2025, he has been living at our shelter, where he is slowly discovering life in the company of humans. His past remains a mystery, but he seems ready to turn a new page and build a new life alongside his future family. Darwin is a big, sensitive, gentle, and affectionate dog. He is social, attentive, and curious. Playful and affectionate, he needs patient and kind humans who can understand his progress and share good moments with him. With the right environment, he promises to become a faithful and endearing companion, full of love to offer. Darwin is a dog in full adaptation phase. City life and leash use are still a learning process for him, and he prefers the calm and open spaces for now. His socialization is progressing every day thanks to the efforts of the volunteers and staff at the our shelter. Adoption procedures: Are you interested? Darwin est un jeune mâle croisé Beauceron, né vers 2021 selon l’estimation vétérinaire. Il a été trouvé errant au Villard du Lauzet (04), sans puce ni collier, et personne n’est venu le réclamer. Depuis septembre 2025, il vit au refuge où il découvre peu à peu la vie en compagnie des humains. Son passé reste un mystère, mais il semble prêt à tourner la page et à construire une nouvelle vie aux côtés de sa future famille. Darwin est un grand sensible, doux et câlin. Il est sociable, à l’écoute et curieux. Joueur et affectueux, il a besoin d’humains patients et bienveillants, capables de comprendre ses progrès et de partager de bons moments avec lui. Avec le bon environnement, il promet de devenir un compagnon fidèle et attachant, débordant d’amour à offrir. Darwin est un chien en pleine phase d’adaptation. La vie en ville et le port de la laisse sont encore un apprentissage pour lui, et il préfère pour l’instant le calme et les grands espaces.
