Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei

Mixed Breed · Female · Young · 1 year

Dear donors, dear friends! Currently, 430 dogs are waiting daily for their food ration! We cannot help but describe the dramatic situation we have found ourselves in for some time, as we no longer know how to proceed! Due to the immense increase in living costs, which also affect the necessary feeding of our dogs/cats, it has become very difficult for us, almost impossible, to ensure the sustenance of our little souls. An animal rescuer who cares for the animals in Antalya has reached the end and must give up her 23 years of animal protection work because the financial means have run out due to the enormous cost increases! Below is a list of the current problems that severely hinder our animal protection work: - Constantly rising veterinary fees - Even the medications for treatments are becoming more expensive - Food has become almost unaffordable, prices only go up - The prices for spay/neuter surgeries have almost reached EU level! - The workers often let Mehmet down because we are not able to pay the wages on time - Due to the massive cost increases, debts have accumulated that need to be paid off - The annual lease for our intake station (we call it the "Bayeranlage") is due this month, as our dogs/cats are housed there and we have barely been able to save anything due to the high inflation Your dear ones, our situation is dramatic. We continue to fight for our little souls, but against the cost increases in all areas that make our animal protection work so difficult, we unfortunately have nothing in hand! That is why we heartily ask you to check your savings jars to see if a few euros can be found. Because without your willingness to help, it does not work. Where should our beloved dogs/cats go if we had to give up? More photos can be viewed upon request! Many thanks on behalf of our dogs and cats! Our association accounts: Tierhilfe kleiner Brunnen e.V.

Liebe Spender, liebe Freunde ! Katzen ! About Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei

What life with Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei looks like

Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei is a medium-sized young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. in Germany.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierfreunde im Fläming e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Das Leid unserer Hunde in der Türkei and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
