Adopt Angus - not at Mutts

Mixed Breed · Male · Adult · 5 years

Please note these dogs are not at Mutts in Distress and we know nothing about them. We merely give other rescues space to advertise their dogs. Please do not phone Mutts in Distress, as our staff cannot answer questions about these dogs. Please call the number against each dog. Angus the Gt Dane is 5 years old. He is looking for an experienced home. He is being rehomed due to family illness. Angus is reactive to male dogs but is usually fine with females. He has previously lived with a female dog without problems. Angus is house trained and lead trained but will not live with cats. He apparently has great recall. The owner says : Dog reactive when out for walks but I believe with socialisation and training this could be corrected. He lives with three children and has been around babies/ small children his whole life. I believe he would do better in a child/pet free house. As he prefers a quiet environment. He is not neutered. Hasn’t been to the vets since pre Covid. I believe he had his puppy vaccinations but nothing since. Good on lead knows not to walk in front or pull but can be bossy with new people. Walks with a head harness on short lead. Recall is perfect. Located in Leeds could transport up to an hour away. If interested in rehoming Angus and wanting more information, please call .
