I am David and I am looking for a quiet home with people who have patience and can help me become brave. This is me: I was seized along with many other cats for animal welfare reasons - that's why I am still quite anxious and shy, but sweet! New situations unsettle me at first and I don't let myself be petted at first. In the animal shelter I still hide a lot. That's why I'm looking for people who respect my boundaries and give me the time I need. With a little patience I can come in my own pace. I wish for a quiet home without small children, preferably with outdoor access. People with cat experience who understand insecure cats and don't pressure me would be just right for me. I'd rather live as a single tomcat and look for a home where I can build trust in peace. Can you imagine giving me this chance? Ich bin David und suche ein ruhiges Zuhause bei Menschen, die Geduld mitbringen und mir helfen, mutig zu werden. Das bin ich: Ich wurde gemeinsam mit vielen anderen Katzen aus Tierschutzgründen sichergestellt – deshalb bin ich noch ganz schön ängstlich und scheu, aber lieb! Neue Situationen verunsichern mich erstmal und ich lasse mich anfangs noch nicht streicheln. Im Tierheim verstecke ich mich noch viel. Deshalb suche ich Menschen, die meine Grenzen respektieren und mir die Zeit geben, die ich brauche. Mit etwas Geduld kann ich in meinem eigenen Tempo ankommen. Ich wünsche mir ein ruhiges Zuhause ohne Kleinkinder, am liebsten mit Freigang. Menschen mit Katzenerfahrung, die Verständnis für unsichere Katzen haben und mich nicht bedrängen, wären für mich genau richtig. Ich möchte lieber als Einzelkater leben und suche ein Zuhause, in dem ich in Ruhe Vertrauen aufbauen darf. Kannst du dir vorstellen, mir diese Chance zu geben?
