Dean, born circa 2017, neutered, approximately 55 cm shoulder height, at the shelter since 2020. Our beautiful Dean comes from one of the public animal shelters and is reserved around people due to his experiences there. Maria knows him best, she can feed him from her hand. Otherwise, he maintains a healthy distance. Dean is quite curious, but currently lacks the courage to approach people, and unfortunately, the shelter does not have the opportunities to provide him with the positive experiences he so desperately needs. We wish for him a home with empathetic and experienced people who can show him what a good dog life is like in peace and without time pressure or expectations. It should be okay if he never wants to go for walks or cuddle like a normal dog. Maybe he will be good for one or two positive surprises. A securely fenced garden with direct access to the house is a basic requirement. Since Dean has only poor placement chances, we would be very happy if someone takes a sponsorship for him. Currently located in Romania and allowed to travel if a home is found. Travels chipped and vaccinated (EU vaccination passport; vaccinations: rabies and basic immunization). All dogs are treated against intestinal parasites and ectoparasites upon arrival at the shelter and at least once a year thereafter. The described behavioral observations are based on everyday life in the shelter and may be different in a domestic environment under changed living conditions. 2023 Futterpatenschaft: - Tierarztpatenschaft: - Dean, geboren ca. 2017, kastriert, ca. 55 cm Schulterhöhe, im Shelter seit 2020 Unser wunderschöner Dean kommt aus einem der öffentlichen Tierheime und ist nach den dort gemachten Erfahrungen Menschen gegenüber zurückhaltend. Maria kennt er am besten, sie kann ihn aus der Hand füttern. Ansonsten hält er einen gesunden Abstand. Dean hat durchaus eine gewisse Neugier, momentan fehlt ihm aber der Mut um auf Menschen zuzugehen und leider gibt es im Shelter nicht die Möglichkeiten, ihm die positiven Erfahrungen zu verschaffen, die er so dringend bräuchte. Wir wünschen uns für ihn ein Zuhause bei einfühlsamen und erfahrenen Menschen, die ihm in Ruhe und ohne Zeitdruck oder Erwartungshaltung zeigen, was ein gutes Hundeleben ist. Es sollte okay sein, wenn er nie wie ein normaler Hund Gassi gehen oder kuscheln will. Vielleicht ist er dann für die eine oder andere positive Überraschung gut. Ein sicher eingezäunter Garten mit direktem Zugang zum Haus ist Grundvoraussetzung. Da Dean nur schlechte Vermittlungschancen hat, würden wir uns sehr freuen, wenn jemand eine Patenschaft für ihn übernimmt. Befindet sich aktuell in Rumänien und darf ausreisen, wenn er ein Zuhause gefunden hat. Reist gechipt und geimpft (EU Impfpass; Impfungen: Tollwut und Grundimmunisierung). Alle Hunde werden bei ihrer Ankunft im Shelter sowie anschließend mindestens einmal jährlich gegen Darmparasiten und Ektoparasiten behandelt. Die geschilderten Verhaltensbeobachtungen basieren auf dem Alltag im Shelter und können sich in einem häuslichen Umfeld unter veränderten Lebensbedingungen entsprechend anders darstellen.
