Deano : Male : . 1.5 Years old . February 2025 : Small to medium Deano is one of the 30 dogs we rescued from the horrific “house of horror”, where around 120 dogs and cats had been living inside just two rooms. Deano has spent at least half his life in that horrible place Deano is the sweetest, quietest soul Our team met him in August 2026, and they said: Somehow, despite everything he has known, Deano is such a lovely boy. He has a naturally quiet and gentle personality, but importantly, he is not frightened or skittish. Deano is calm and wonderfully easy-going. He is quite content to sit beside us in the shade while we talk, simply enjoying being close to people. He may be a quieter boy, but he does come over for strokes and affection, and those moments are incredibly special. There is a softness about Deano that has completely stolen our hearts He was clearly underfed when he arrived and absolutely loves his food, but even with his meals, he is wonderfully well-mannered. He happily eats alongside the other dogs without any problems at all We honestly cannot wait to see what the future holds for this beautiful boy Right now, Deano is still discovering what it means to be safe. He has never had the chance to experience a real home, a family of his own or the simple pleasures of everyday life There is a sweet, gentle character inside this boy, just waiting for someone to give him the time and love to let it shine His story started in the worst possible place.
