Among the new arrivals we met at Canile Arzachena in April 2025, this young male dog was one of them. He was found homeless, wandering around the outskirts of Arzachena. Dedalo, as he was named, showed himself to be somewhat shy and cautious towards us. But that didn’t surprise us. For one, he had just arrived at the shelter not long ago, and for another, his experiences with people were likely far from positive: someone had not only cut off his ears but also his tail. What kind of monsters do such things to defenseless animals? We can never comprehend the cruelty with which many animals— not just on Sardinia—are tormented. We now wish for Dedalo that he will soon have the chance to leave the Canile and travel to Germany, where he will find a permanent home with loving people who will take the time to help him adjust and forget his miserable past. Would you like to take Dedalo into your family and help him lead a happy and relaxed dog life?

Zu den Neuzugängen, die wir im April 2025 im Canile Arzachena kennenlernten, gehörte dieser junge Rüde. Er war herrenlos aufgegriffen worden, als er am Rand von Arzachena herumirrte. Dedalo, wie er genannt wurde, zeigte sich uns gegenüber noch etwas schüchtern und vorsichtig. Aber das wunderte uns nicht. Zum einen war gerade erst kurz zuvor im Canile gelandet, zum anderen waren seine Erfahrungen mit Menschen sicherlich eher negativ: Man hatte dem armen Kerl sowohl die Ohren als auch die Rute abgeschnitten ... Was sind das für Bastarde, die einem wehrlosen Tier so etwas antun? Wir werden diese Grausamkeit, mit der viele Tiere - nicht nur auf Sardinien - gequält werden, niemals nachvollziehen können. Wir wünschen uns nun für Dedalo, dass er bald die Chance bekommt, das Canile wieder verlassen und nach Deutschland reisen zu können. Hier soll er dann sein Zuhause für immer finden bei lieben Menschen, die im mit viel Geduld und Liebe die Zeit lassen, die er braucht, um Vertragen zu fassen und sein elendes früheres Leben vergessen zu können. Möchten Sie Dedalo in Ihre Familie aufnehmen und ihm helfen, ein glückliches und entspanntes Hundeleben führen zu können.
