Her Story: Sweet Delany has only recently arrived at her foster home, but she’s quickly proven herself to be a truly special dog. With her loving and easygoing nature, she wins hearts in no time. She loves long cuddle sessions, enjoys being close to her people, and would love nothing more than to be included in everything they do. She gets along exceptionally well with the family’s children and loves spending time with them. Walks are among her greatest passions. Curious and attentive, Delany explores her surroundings and can’t wait to discover the world. She likes to stay close to her people and is open to new experiences. Despite her strong bond with her humans, she can already comfortably spend about an hour alone without any issues. The cat living in the household is largely ignored by Delany—only the cat food occasionally sparks her interest. She’s already made friends with the existing first dog. Together, they play, romp around, or simply relax cozily together in their basket. Right now, Delany isn’t particularly fond of getting into the car. However, once she’s inside, she travels calmly and relaxed. Typical of a Labrador, Delany has a healthy appetite and responds wonderfully to treats as motivation. She’s attentive, eager to learn, and loves working closely with her people. Training together brings her obvious joy, and she’s thrilled by any kind of activity and attention. Living right in the middle of a bustling city would probably still be a bit too much for her at the moment, as she sometimes reacts uncertainly to loud noises and passing cars. Yet with patience, positive reinforcement, and a supportive environment, she’ll continue to gain confidence and develop increasing trust in new situations. Ihre Geschichte: Die süße Delany ist erst seit Kurzem auf ihrer Pflegestelle und hat sich dort schnell als ganz besondere Hündin gezeigt. Mit ihrer liebevollen und unkomplizierten Art erobert sie die Herzen im Sturm. Sie liebt ausgiebige Kuschelstunden, genießt die Nähe zu ihren Menschen und möchte am liebsten überall mit dabei sein. Besonders mit den Kindern der Familie versteht sie sich hervorragend und verbringt gerne Zeit mit ihnen. Spaziergänge gehören zu ihren größten Leidenschaften. Neugierig und aufmerksam erkundet Delany ihre Umgebung und möchte die Welt entdecken. Dabei orientiert sie sich gerne an ihren Menschen und zeigt sich offen für neue Eindrücke. Trotz ihrer engen Bindung kann sie bereits etwa eine Stunde problemlos alleine bleiben. Die im Haushalt lebende Katze wird von Delany weitgehend ignoriert – lediglich das Katzenfutter weckt gelegentlich ihr Interesse. Mit dem vorhandenen Ersthund hat sie bereits Freundschaft geschlossen. Gemeinsam wird gespielt, getobt oder auch gemütlich zusammen im Körbchen entspannt. Ins Auto steigt Delany aktuell noch nicht besonders gerne ein. Ist sie jedoch erst einmal an Bord, fährt sie ruhig und entspannt mit. Typisch Labrador bringt Delany einen gesunden Appetit mit und lässt sich wunderbar über Leckerlis motivieren. Sie ist aufmerksam, lernwillig und arbeitet gerne mit ihren Menschen zusammen. Das gemeinsame Training macht ihr sichtbar Spaß und sie freut sich über jede Form von Beschäftigung und Zuwendung. Das Leben mitten in einer lebhaften Stadt wäre derzeit vermutlich noch etwas zu viel für sie, da sie auf laute Geräusche und vorbeifahrende Autos teilweise noch unsicher reagiert. Mit Geduld, positiver Bestärkung und einem verständnisvollen Umfeld wird sie jedoch weiterhin an Sicherheit gewinnen und immer mehr Vertrauen in neue Situationen entwickeln. Für unsere bezaubernde Delany wünschen wir uns eine liebevolle Familie, die Freude daran hat, Zeit mit ihrem Hund zu verbringen und ihr die Möglichkeit gibt, in ihrem eigenen Tempo anzukommen.
