Over 800 dogs live in this shelter. Over 800 lives, each one fighting for survival every day. Especially for sensitive dogs, life there is far from easy. Noise, stress, crowding, and far too little human affection are part of their daily lives. 😔 Of course, we can't introduce every single dog. But sometimes, there are dogs that the people on site just can't let go. Dexter is one of those dogs. ❤️ Currently, a German team is on site, visiting the dogs, spending time with them, and getting to know them better. And with Dexter, it was immediate. Everyone fell in love with him. 🥹 Dexter is estimated to be around 5 to 6 years old and is about 40-45 cm tall. He is an incredibly friendly, affectionate dog who gets along well with other dogs and simply adores people. Even strangers were able to pet him without any hesitation or suspicion. As soon as someone sits with him and gives him attention, Dexter enjoys every second. ❤️ He just loves that someone is there. That someone takes the time for him. And when the petting hands finally reach him, he prefers to simply stand there and probably thinks: "Yes, that's perfect." 🥰 These little moments mean a lot to him. It's hard to imagine how little attention a single dog in a shelter with over 800 dogs can actually receive. Before any travel arrangements, Dexter will of course be examined by a veterinarian. 🩺 What we wish for Dexter is a home full of love. People who appreciate his friendly and uncomplicated nature. People who show him that life has more to offer than bars, concrete, and the daily struggle for attention. ℹ️ Dexter is already vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and naturally in possession of an EU passport. Über 800 Hunde leben in diesem Shelter. Über 800 Schicksale, die jeden Tag ums Überleben kämpfen. Besonders für sensible Hunde ist das Leben dort alles andere als leicht. Lärm, Stress, Enge und viel zu wenig menschliche Zuwendung gehören zum Alltag. 😔 Natürlich können wir nicht alle Hunde vorstellen. Aber manchmal gibt es Hunde, die die Menschen vor Ort einfach nicht mehr loslassen. DEXTER ist so ein Hund. ❤️ Aktuell ist wieder ein deutsches Team vor Ort, das die Hunde besucht, Zeit mit ihnen verbringt und sie besser kennenlernt. Und bei DEXTER war es sofort um alle geschehen. Alle haben sich in ihn verliebt. 🥹 DEXTER wird auf etwa 5 bis 6 Jahre geschätzt und ist ungefähr 40-45 cm groß. Er ist ein unglaublich freundlicher, lieber Hund, der sich mit anderen Hunden gut versteht und Menschen einfach toll findet. Selbst fremde Personen durfte er problemlos streicheln. Keine Skepsis, kein Misstrauen. Sobald sich jemand zu ihm setzt und ihm Aufmerksamkeit schenkt, genießt DEXTER jede einzelne Sekunde. ❤️ Er freut sich einfach nur, dass jemand da ist. Dass sich jemand Zeit für ihn nimmt. Und wenn die streichelnden Hände einmal bei ihm angekommen sind, bleibt er am liebsten einfach stehen und denkt sich vermutlich: “Ja, genau so ist es perfekt.” 🥰 Diese kleinen Momente bedeuten ihm offensichtlich unglaublich viel. Dabei ist es kaum vorstellbar, wie wenig Aufmerksamkeit ein einzelner Hund in einem Shelter mit über 800 Hunden überhaupt bekommen kann. Vor einer möglichen Ausreise wird DEXTER selbstverständlich tierärztlich untersucht. 🩺 Was wir uns für DEXTER wünschen? Ein Zuhause voller Liebe. Menschen, die seine freundliche und unkomplizierte Art zu schätzen wissen.
