Anfangs ist er sehr zurückhaltend und etwas ängstlich bei unbekannten Geräuschen. Er schmust sehr gerne mit seinen Bezugspersonen. Dexter ist sehr bestechlich und tut für Leckerchen wirklich alles. Offene Tüten sind vor ihm nicht sicher. Kleine Kinder sollten nicht mit im Haushalt leben. Er möchte auf jeden Fall den Freigang genießen dürfen.
