Dhylis

Female Β· Puppy Β· 6 months

Meet Dhylis ❀️🐾 Introducing our beautiful little girl, Dhylis ! ❀️🐾 Dhylis is a 6-month-old mixed breed puppy who has travelled all the way from Romania in search of the loving forever home she truly deserves. She is fully vaccinated , microchipped , and ready to begin the next chapter of her life here in the UK. She is the sweetest little soulβ€”gentle, affectionate, and full of potential. ❀️ While she can be a little timid at first, she's making wonderful progress with her confidence-building training. She's currently learning crate training, heel work, and β€œfollow me” exercises, and she's slowly discovering how to relax, play, and simply enjoy being a puppy. Dhylis is looking for a special family who will understand that she needs patience, kindness, and continued guidance. Ideally, we'd love her to find a home local to us so her new family can continue working with our trainer, with a training session arranged within the first 1–2 weeks of adoption. This will help give her the very best start towards becoming a happy, confident adult dog. Dhylis' Ideal Home ❀️🐾 Children aged 6 years and over Dog-friendly home (she enjoys the company of other dogs) A family committed to continuing her puppy training and confidence building Patient, understanding adopters who will give her the time she needs to flourish Dhylis has already made a fantastic start, but she still has plenty to learn. With love, consistency, and ongoing training, she is sure to blossom into an incredible companion. Could you be the family she's been waiting for? ❀️🐾 Adoption fees apply (Β£560), and all potential adopters will be subject to home checks.

About Dhylis

What life with Dhylis looks like

Dhylis is a puppy/kitten dog waiting at Doggy Dens UK Rescue in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window β€” house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Dhylis, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Dhylis?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Doggy Dens UK Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Dhylis on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Dhylis if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Doggy Dens UK Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Dhylis already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Dhylis isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Doggy Dens UK Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Dhylis and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
