Diorek is a Staffordshire terrier who has been with us at the shelter since 2017, when he came as a roughly one-year-old dog. Today he is a calmer, more balanced dog companion who likes his routine and security. Outside the kennel he watches over his territory - he knows how to bark and show that he has everything under control. Outside the kennel, however, he is completely different: on a leash he walks calmly, handles a muzzle and basic commands and is generally very manageable. Diorek is more of a couch potato. He loves warmth, sunshine and comfort, and he feels much better inside than outside in winter. He likes to curl up in blankets and quilts, rest and enjoy the peace. Toys, especially stuffed animals, are also among his favorites. He is friendly and affectionate towards people, but needs time to build trust. Frequent visits are ideal for him, as they gradually make him more open. He is not suitable for children. With other dogs he is non-confrontational and tends to ignore them. Diorek is looking for a quiet home where he will have his comfort, security and a patient person to whom he will gradually fully devote himself.

Diorek je stafordšírský teriér, který u nás v útulku žije už od roku 2017, kdy přišel jako asi roční pes. Dnes je z něj klidnější, vyrovnaný psí parťák, který má rád svůj režim a jistoty. Za plotem si hlídá své teritorium – umí zaštěkat a dát najevo, že tady má všechno pod kontrolou. Mimo kotec je ale úplně jiný: na vodítku chodí klidně, zvládá náhubek i základní povely a je celkově velmi dobře ovladatelný. Diorek je spíš gaučový typ. Miluje teplo, slunce a pohodlí, v zimě je mu výrazně lépe uvnitř než venku. Rád se zavrtá do dek a peřin, odpočívá a užívá si klid. Hračky, zejména plyšáky, má také v oblibě. K lidem je přátelský a mazlivý, ale potřebuje čas, aby si vytvořil důvěru. Ideální jsou pro něj častější návštěvy, díky kterým se postupně více otevře. K dětem se nehodí. Se psy je nekonfliktní a spíše si jich nevšímá. Diorek hledá klidný domov, kde bude mít své pohodlí, jistotu a trpělivého člověka, kterému se postupně plně odevzdá.
