Strong-willed Amstaff female seeks an experienced home DIVA lives up to her name: she is curious, a bit of a stubborn head, and likes to make a scene in new situations. What DIVA needs are people with clarity, humor, and a healthy dose of determination. She likes to debate and needs someone to tell her what is allowed and what is not. If you're willing to grow together with her and accept her character, you'll get a loyal and lively companion with heart and brains. DIVA does not want to share her home with other animals, especially cats. She enjoys being the center of attention and would prefer to have her own kingdom. DIVA is generally compatible with other dogs, and joint walks usually proceed without problems. However, she closely monitors her people. If another dog gets too close to her person, or if the person tries to intervene in an interaction between DIVA and another dog, DIVA can quickly become agitated. In such moments, she displays controlling behavior and tends to physically discipline the other dog. One could say she is socially motivated to be aggressive – out of the need to "claim" her person. We are working intensively on this behavior by setting clear boundaries so that she learns to handle such situations better, which is now going very well. Also, small children should not live in the household because DIVA is often very stormy. Was Diva braucht, sind Menschen mit Klarheit, Humor und einer gesunden Portion Durchsetzungsvermögen. Sie diskutiert nämlich gerne und braucht jemanden, der ihr sagt, was erlaubt ist und was nicht. Wer Lust hat, mit ihr gemeinsam zu wachsen und sich auf ihren Charakter einzulassen, bekommt eine treue und lebendige Begleiterin mit Herz und Köpfchen. Mit anderen Tieren, insbesondere Katzen, möchte Diva ihr Zuhause nicht teilen. Sie genießt es, im Mittelpunkt zu stehen und hätte am liebsten ihr Reich ganz für sich allein. Diva ist grundsätzlich gut mit anderen Hunden verträglich, und gemeinsame Spaziergänge verlaufen meist problemlos. Allerdings kontrolliert sie ihre Menschen sehr genau. Wir arbeiten intensiv an diesem Verhalten, indem wir klare Grenzen setzen, damit sie lernt, solche Situationen besser auszuhalten, was mittlerweile auch schon sehr gut klappt. Auch Kleinkinder sollten nicht im Haushalt leben, da Diva oft sehr stürmisch ist.
