What Diva needs are people with clarity, humour and a healthy portion of assertiveness. She likes to discuss and needs someone to tell her what is allowed and what is not. If you want to grow together with her and get involved in her character, you get a faithful and lively companion with heart and bowls. With other animals, especially cats, Diva does not want to share her home. She enjoys being at the centre and would like her kingdom to be alone. Diva is basically well tolerated with other dogs, and common walks usually run smoothly. However, she controls her people very accurately. If another dog comes close to her human being, it is stroked or tries to intervene in an interaction between Diva and another dog, Diva can quickly react unrestrained. At such moments she shows a controlling behavior and tends to physically measure the other dog. One could say that in these situations it is socially motivated aggressive – from the need to claim "their" people for themselves. We are working intensively on this behaviour by setting clear limits so that it learns to keep such situations better, which is already very good. Even toddlers should not live in the household, since Diva is often very stormy. For this, Diva brings a lot of humour: she is playful, often has funny incidents and is looking forward to her references. Whoever conquers her heart gets a faithful cheerful companion. Charakterstarke Amstaff-Dame sucht ein erfahrenes Zuhause Diva macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre: Sie neugierig, ein kleiner Sturkopf und macht in neuen Situationen gerne auch mal Drama. Was Diva braucht, sind Menschen mit Klarheit, Humor und einer gesunden Portion Durchsetzungsvermögen. Sie diskutiert nämlich gerne und braucht jemanden, der ihr sagt, was erlaubt ist und was nicht. Wer Lust hat, mit ihr gemeinsam zu wachsen und sich auf ihren Charakter einzulassen, bekommt eine treue und lebendige Begleiterin mit Herz und Köpfchen. Mit anderen Tieren, insbesondere Katzen, möchte Diva ihr Zuhause nicht teilen. Sie genießt es, im Mittelpunkt zu stehen und hätte am liebsten ihr Reich ganz für sich allein. Diva ist grundsätzlich gut mit anderen Hunden verträglich, und gemeinsame Spaziergänge verlaufen meist problemlos. Allerdings kontrolliert sie ihre Menschen sehr genau. Kommt ein anderer Hund ihrem Menschen zu nahe, wird dieser gestreichelt oder versucht der Mensch, in eine Interaktion zwischen Diva und einem anderen Hund einzugreifen, kann Diva schnell ungehalten reagieren. In solchen Momenten zeigt sie ein kontrollierendes Verhalten und neigt dazu, den anderen Hund körperlich zu maßregeln. Man könnte sagen, sie ist in diesen Situationen sozial motiviert aggressiv – aus dem Bedürfnis heraus, "ihren" Menschen für sich zu beanspruchen. Wir arbeiten intensiv an diesem Verhalten, indem wir klare Grenzen setzen, damit sie lernt, solche Situationen besser auszuhalten, was mittlerweile auch schon sehr gut klappt. Auch Kleinkinder sollten nicht im Haushalt leben, da Diva oft sehr stürmisch ist. Dafür bringt Diva jede Menge Humor mit: Sie ist verspielt, hat oft lustige Einfälle und freut sich über ihre Bezugspersonen. Wer ihr Herz erobert bekommt eine treue fröhliche Begleiterin.
