We house again and again pigeons with handicaps of any kind (flight-impaired, missing toes or feet, etc.) at our animal shelter. Due to their impairments, the animals cannot be released into the wild with supervision. For some, it would be advisable to have them in a specialized aviary designed for handicapped pigeons. We would like to find a handicap-free home with a sufficiently large aviary. In individual cases, supervised free flight with care could be considered. Wir beherbergen immer wieder Tauben mit Handicaps jeglicher Art (Flugeingeschränkt, fehlende Zehen oder Füße, etc.) bei uns im Tierheim. Aufgrund ihrer Beeinträchtigungen können die Tiere nicht über einen betreuten Schlag in die Freiheit entlassen werden. Bei einigen wäre eine Haltung in einer Voliere, die für gehandicapte Tiere ausgelegt ist, anzuraten. Wir wünschen uns ein zuchtfreies Zuhause mit ausreichend großer Voliere. Über eine Haltung mit betreutem Freiflug kann im Einzelfall gesprochen werden. Bei Interesse an einer Taube oder auch mehreren kontaktieren Sie uns gerne vorab per Email.
