Dobby was born with 7 brothers and sisters in Bosnia. Mother Helga had already lived for 7 years with a terrible man who, every time she had puppies, took them away and left them in the forest, where they died of hunger. When we heard this, we took the mother and puppies with us. The puppies were born in November 2025. Dobby is 45 cm tall and weighs 12 kilos; he is very lanky and tall on his legs. Dobby is an extremely sweet, inquisitive, curious and playful teenager. Dobby loves playing with other dogs. He also likes to play by himself with a stick and a ball. Dobby is fully house-trained, fully vaccinated, including against kennel cough, dewormed, and protected against ticks and fleas. Dobby gets along well with women, children and other dogs. Men he finds a bit more complicated. Having his own owner is no problem, but if he visits a household where he gets the chance to take charge himself, he tries to chase the visitors away. We are looking for a quiet home with few visitors and no children coming and going, and an owner who is firm and confident so that he does not think he has to take control. Dobby completely relaxes in the forest and really enjoys going there. In a calm environment, Dobby can be off-leash. Dobby has not yet fully learned to be alone; with another dog, however, that goes very well. He is vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed, and can be viewed at the shelter in Gemeente Hoogeveen.

Dobby werd met 7 broertjes en zusjes geboren in Bosnië Moeder Helga woonde al 7 jaar bij een vreselijke man die elke keer als ze pupjes kreeg ze weg haalde en in het bos achterliet waar ze omkwamen van de honger. Toen we dit hoorden, hebben we moeder en pupjes meegenomen. De pupjes zijn in november 2025 geboren. Dobby is is 45 cm en 12 kilo hij is heel rank en hoog op de poten Dobby is een ontzettend lieve, onderzoekende en nieuwsgierige, speelse puber. Dobby speelt graag met andere honden. Ook speelt hij graag zelf met een stok en een bal. Dobby is volledig zindelijk, volledig geënt ook tegen de kennelhoest, ontwormt en beschermd tegen teken en vlooien. Dobby kan goed met vrouwen, kinderen en andere honden. Mannen vindt hij wat ingewikkelder Eigen baasje is geen enkel probleem maar bezoek probeert hij weg te jagen als hij in een gezin is waar hij de kans krijgt de boel zelf te regelen we zoeken een rustig huisje waar weinig bezoek komt en geen kinderen in en uit lopen Een baasje die stevig in de schoenen staat zodat hij niet denkt dat hij de boel moet regelen. Dobby komt helemaal tot rust in het bos en mag daar dan ook graag heen. In een rustige omgeving kan Dobby goed los. Dobby heeft nog niet goed geleerd om alleen te zijn, met een andere hond gaat dat wel heel goed. Hij is geënt, gechipt en ontwormd en is te bewonderen in de opvang in Gemeente Hoogeveen.
