Dodko has already experienced in his young life what no dog should ever have to go through. He came into our care from Luník IX after a neutering campaign. The people who owned him refused to take him back. Instead of returning home, a new chapter awaited him—a chance for a better life. Upon arrival, Dodko had been bitten by another dog (or possibly several dogs), and his health condition required immediate veterinary attention. The wounds from the neutering procedure became complicated, and he needed further examinations and treatment. Today, Dodko is already on the road to recovery, but he still needs time, peace, and a sensitive approach. Given what he’s been through, he requires gentle and patient handling. Sudden movements or pressure are not suitable for him. He needs a family that will respect his pace, provide him with a sense of security, and help him regain his trust. Despite everything he’s been through, Dodko deserves to experience what it’s like to be a loved member of a family. We’re looking for a home for him where he’ll never again be just one among many—where he’ll have his own place, regular care, a full bowl of food, a warm bed, and above all, a person he can rely on. We believe there’s a family out there that won’t focus on his past but on the future he still has ahead of him. Dodko still needs some time for his coat to fully grow in. If you’re looking for a loyal canine companion and want to give a chance to a dog who truly deserves it, he might just be waiting for you. Dodko has already known pain and disappointment. Dodko si už v jeho mladom živote prešiel tým, čím by si nemal prejsť žiadny psík. Do našej starostlivosti sa dostal z Luníka IX po kastračnej akcii. Ľudia, ktorým patril, si ho odmietli prevziať. Namiesto návratu domov ho čakala nová kapitola – šanca na lepší život. Pri príchode bol Dodko pohryzený iným psom (alebo viacerými psami) a jeho zdravotný stav si vyžadoval okamžitú veterinárnu starostlivosť. Rany po kastrácii sa skomplikovali, musel absolvovať ďalšie vyšetrenia a liečbu. Dnes je už Dodko na ceste k uzdraveniu, no stále potrebuje čas, pokoj a citlivý prístup. Vzhľadom na to, čo prežil, si vyžaduje jemnú a trpezlivú manipuláciu. Prudké pohyby ani nátlak nie sú pre neho vhodné. Potrebuje rodinku, ktorá bude rešpektovať jeho tempo, dopraje mu pocit bezpečia a pomôže mu znovu získať dôveru. Napriek všetkému, čo zažil, si Dodko zaslúži spoznať, aké je to byť milovaným členom rodiny. Hľadáme pre neho domov, kde už nikdy nebude len jedným z mnohých. Domov, kde bude mať svoje miesto, pravidelnú starostlivosť, plnú misku, teplý pelech a predovšetkým človeka, na ktorého sa bude môcť spoľahnúť. Veríme, že niekde existuje rodina, ktorá sa nebude pozerať na jeho minulosť, ale na budúcnosť, ktorú ešte môže mať. Dodkovi ešte na pár miestach potrebuje dorásť srsť. Ak hľadáte verného psieho spoločníka a chcete dať šancu psíkovi, ktorý si ju skutočne zaslúži, možno čaká práve na vás. Dodko už poznal bolesť a sklamanie.
